Cookie policy
Last updated: 08/10/2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) is a similar technology that keeps data on your device. This policy explains which ones StairGen Pro (stairgen.pro), operated by Quantum AMS LLC, uses.
Strictly necessary cookies and storage
They are needed for features you ask for, so they do not require consent. They are first-party and are not used to track you.
- better-auth.session_token (__Secure-better-auth.session_token over HTTPS): keeps you signed in if you use your Google account. It expires after 7 days without use or when you sign out.
- better-auth.state: protects the Google sign-in against forgery. It lasts 5 minutes.
- lang: remembers the language you pick in the language selector. It lasts 1 year.
- stairgen:proyectos and stairgen:borrador:<type> (local storage): projects saved without an account and the editor draft, so you do not lose your work.
- stairgen:consent (local storage): remembers your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every page.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, or turn on analytics in “Settings”, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) to know how many people use StairGen Pro and which features they use, so that we can improve it.
- _ga: tells visitors apart with a random identifier. It lasts 13 months.
- _ga_LYQWBWXH38: keeps the state of the Google Analytics session. It lasts 13 months.
These cookies are stored under our domain, but the data is sent to Google. How Google uses this data is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Without your consent, no analytics cookies are stored or read. Google Analytics then runs in Google's consent mode and only sends cookieless signals (page viewed, time, browser and consent choice), which Google uses in aggregate without identifying you.
We do not use advertising cookies: storage for advertising, ad personalisation and sending user data to Google for advertising remain switched off.
How to accept, reject or change your choice
On your first visit, a banner lets you choose between “Accept”, “Reject” and “Settings”, all with the same prominence. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page or the button below. If you withdraw it, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, signing in may not work.
Changes
If we add new cookies, for example advertising cookies if we introduce advertising, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them. For any question, write to info@stairgen.pro.
